FAQs of the summer...
...or rather, their answers.
no, i am not dead. thank you for your concern.
i am alive, well, and drug-free near Land O' Pot, Oregon. i live with the Auntie Trish of Lore. i work for the City of Caboose, as i did last summer, and for about half the county. so far 11 sheep, 7 dogs, 7 cats, 7 horses, 4 chickens, a dozen fish, and multiple plants and gardens have survived my care. these numbers make the casualties seem minimal.
i did not fail out of that aggravating college. i have a crush on a boy. i have a topic for my thesis. i have an emotionally needy dog. i have searched for an ancient and precious dog (they brought it with them when they moved from france) with congestive heart failure, at 1am. i have been late for church every sunday (hey, i've made it for the homilies, usually). i recovered from the plague (aka guatemala's revenge). i had the i-dont-hate-him-i-just-hate-you-with-him talk with my sister and bawled my eyes out. i spied on the exciting neighbors relentlessly (with auntie trish's guidence) until they moved out. i have undertaken major--and yet to be completed--home improvement projects.
i have not gone to the goble tavern or to the redline a single time. or multiple times. ha ha.
i have not hung out with someone under the age of 40 in i-dont-know-how-long.
i have not been out of the state in 2 months. weird. same state: TWO MONTHS!
i have not watched as many movies in the last YEAR as i have this weekend!
i have not yet contracted brain tumors from hours of cell phone use.
