there is actually a song called Ride Your Bike by some random lady ( http://www.redemmarecords.com/ ) i heard on the funky radio station in P-town. it is beautiful. but, Maiden Arise wrote this recently:

There are orchards all along the freeway and tonight as I drove past I could smell orange blossoms in the air.It was beautiful.Why don't we notice things like that more often?

i respond: because you don't drive a motorcycle! all the sights, sounds, smells, etc. are much more tangible on a bike (motorized or otherwise propelled). get one!

one more thing...read the first chapter of Zen and the Art of Motorcycle Maintenance. i LOVE that book. donzilla and my sister both recommended it to me, and i have thoroughly enjoyed the bit i have read.
