crimson and clover... or crimini and dandelion
just sittin' around, eating crimini and red dandelion quiche... and drinking properly-sweetened and -dairyed coffee.
the mushrooms and greens, as well as the eggs, the onion, and the crust of whole wheat flour and butter, are all from local farmers. the coffee is grown by my assistant midwife's family in brazil, and the half-&-half is from a local dairy. if i had sweetened it with honey, instead of sugar, it would be a 100% organic and locally-connected meal.
well, now that i'm getting nit-picky, i guess the salt and pepper are from afar, as is the paprika that we collected in hungary last year. ah well, it was a nice thought.
