earth: please swallow me up. now.

ok, i am now going to share the two most embarrassing things i have done this week...or possibly ever.

first, while walking with kim (from liberec) down to catch the bus to prague, i COMPLETELY wiped out. as in head-over-heels, on the ground. and it was the one day that i wore a skirt, consequently too much skin was bared and even more was left on the sidewalk. yay.

secondly, on the bus back from prague ridley and i made a great new friend! he is czech, but is fluent in english and spanish, and is learning german. a very cool guy. we went out for a beer together, then left him to have another by himself while waiting for his train and R and i headed home to go to bed. we were tired. too tired, apparently, since we didn't realize until way too late that we had taken off without paying for our beer. the poor guy probably thought we were the biggest jerks ever, leaving him to pick up our tab. luckily beers are only like 50 american cents, but still. ugh. is that not like the biggest social faux paux EVER??!!
