glorious.

i like the czech republic. i really do. you can get the hugest, most filling platter of meat/dumpling/gravy/sludge for like $3. now that´s glorious. looking at it "glorious" was not the first word that came into my mind, but after tasting it, then filling my oh-so-empty belly with it...glorious.

prague. glorious, in a different way. the ancient buildings are covered in centuries of soot, but that just makes them all the more grandly impressive. when i go to a new city i dont go straight for the famous stuff. in fact it doesnt usuallz even cross mz mind to look at a map. i start wandering. i mean, i know where i am and how to get back, but i just take random roads in no particular order. but i found a little store that sells folk czech clothes. i watched an old man fishing. i saw all of prague, maybe all of europe from a lookout point near sts p and p! good times.

ooh, speaking of good times: we found about 30 americans (friends of friends of friends) in prague! at one point we had about 6 guitars, a banjo, two mandolins, a banjo, a clarinet, a crazy wooden drum, and vocals going. it was sweet beyond words. loads of new friends too. i am being forcibly removed from the computer by verbal abuse from ridley and jedno. more later.
